Trial and the Judgement

Thrashed her life in that vicious fuscous night
Tattered her body in that mucky verdant site
Shattered her dreams in that bloody wicked plight
Four feigned civilized animals, enjoyed their bite.

They waited their turn to deracinate her
With ears and heart kept fastened for her prayer
With ineffable agony nature tried to cover
Her natural body with leafy little shower.

When tired they spared her for a midget time
And wrapped in a blanket to set a meacock crime
Wetted in fuel they fired the chad as a scheme
And disenthral the soul of the decubitus dame.

Now tell me the judgement of these cruel critters
Hang or guillotine their ugly little heads
Lynching or castration, anything you can propose
Sharpen your quills and the judgement of the case.

I’m Your Spectator

Words emerging from your quill,
Blazing with an effulgence,
Capering and crooning around,
In harmony or in dissonance.

Rhyming in a golden cage,
Flying around in splendid colors,
Or, in a greenish meadow,
Flying away in divine freedom.

The beads of words will last long,
In our minds, if threaded strong
Whether structured or unstructured
As I know, I'm your spectator.

An Elegy Written In a Road

It was a weekend and I was in a mood
To reach my home as early as I can
I urged the wheels to start a friendly race
With the competing cars rushing around.

The sky getting dark, is it unusual?
I switched on the lights to make the way clear
Sun already hiding, behind the trees
Unable to bear the horrendous scene.

The leaves were silent and the mighty wind
The waves of ocean also stupefied
The nature remained as stunned and low
Heavy and gloomy, sadness in the air.

The beams of light while tearing the darkness
Suddenly found out two eyes so bright
From a small head that holding so high
From a small body already half-dead.

Her eyes were staring straight to my eyes
Calm and serene in their last minute
Piercing my heart with their emotions
Pity and sorrow and dismay and grief.

I turn the wheel to avoid the hitting
Risking my life and car to another track
But behind me, the vehicle of death
The one which she was longing so long.

Oh! Dear soul, I couldn’t forget
The bright little eyes that searched for pity
Like a brave soldier of a defeated army
Holding your head as high as you can.

I imagined the short life that you spent
In this splendid world of cruelty,
As a cute kitten dancing around
And following the little butterflies.

Full of fur, your body was so white
And a long tail, waging in anger
You chased down the tricky doves in vain
And the little sparrows that fly around.

Vibrant and vigil, your life was so full
Until your clock stopped ticking
I couldn’t sleep, the eyes are haunting
Close your eyes dear one, I’m lamenting.

Time Machine

In the midst of my sweet childhood days
I came across a gorgeous machine.
It was known by different names
But I called it my time machine.

A big roar, heard in the beginning
When I watchfully switched it to life.
I was in the middle of a battle
Fought around a century ago.

People, people running all around
Fighting without a reason I know.
Roars of victory and screams in fear
I failed to grasp their different tongue.

Back of horses, on the elephants
They fought a battle unlike to me.
Scenes of horror and bloodshed I saw
Closing my eyes I pressed the button.

Quiet different scenes I opened
In a beautiful well-furnished room
Witnessing an intense private scene
The meaning I couldn't comprehend.

It was surely in someone’s bedroom
Possibly a newly wedded one
Doing in light, should be in the dark
I changed the scene pressing the button.

Different images flashes in front
Again fallen to a battle field
Alien I was and alien it is
People around and the way they fight.

It was in a different planet
Rounding around a bright little star.
They are different and their weapons
Even the light different from us.

Then I decided to check the options
Of this marvelous magic machine.
It can crop centuries to an hour
And can extend an hour to a year.

It takes you to places in a blink
Even to somewhere outside the earth
To the new cities, towns or villages
And the deepest forest or the sea.

While I was admiring the machine
A clear loud rumble came from my back.
Not from the machine sitting in front
It was from the real world where I live.

‘Switch of the TV, go to your room
To complete the homework, remaining’
My father is strict and to be obeyed
But I will come back, dear time machine!

Where to go?

I
Walking
To the north
Without knowing
Where to go
I
Flying
In the wind
Without knowing
Where to go
I
Rowing
In a green leaf
Without knowing
Where to go
I
An ant
Searching
Without knowing
Where my hole
We
Like an ant
Probing and wandering
Without knowing
Where is GOD

I’m Not a Poet

Poet! Am I one?
Without an aim I wrote,
Started, for a fun
Mind’s creation I note.

Wandering thoughts, a lot,
Coming together, they fight,
Words fighting for a slot,
Poem coming to the light.

Poem first, or the poet?
I asked myself, in vain
Poem first, then the poet,
Answer came from the brain.

Never a poet creates a poem,
Oh dear poet, you lives in your poem.

The Heaven

"Mighty, calm and composed she lies,
Like a sleeping queen of Arabia.
The wind is blowing kindly and soft,
Barring the rise of her waves in wrath.

Besides the sea there lies a sand-dune,
Twinkling in sun and flying in wind.
Stars above are fewer than her grains,
Whiter than the white, she looks so pure.

Besides the hill there lies a garden,
Fresh and beautiful, flowers she bear.
Greenish meadows and cool air always
She a beauty, the Garden of Eden.

Besides the garden there lies a forest,
Without any trees, full of buildings.
Settings of sun made her beautiful,
The golden city, then she is called.

Above the city nearing the clouds,
There lies a heaven, smaller than hell.
An angel and two kids, opens the door
Whenever the bell rings, for a new soul.

It is my house and you are welcome,
Six hundred and three, written outside.
No need to die to reach our heaven,
All are admitted, except the dead."

Death

"This has been done or this is to be done
This has been half-done or not to be done
He seldom minds, whether it is done
He will take you and you are done.

The acts of tomorrow, do it today
And those of afternoon, in forenoon
He never waits, to see you finish
He will take you and you are done.

Like a tiger bearing away
A sleeping deer, he snatches
Before plucking the flowers of your deeds
He will take you and you are done.

In prime age or in minor age
In old age or in young age
He never ever tarries for none
He will take you and you are done.

Whether you are weak, or you are strong
Whether you are brave, or you are timid
Whether you are idiotic, or learned
He will take you and you are done.

Every nights take you closer
The days will also do the same
Then he comes without notice
He will take you and you are done.

Nothing resist the messengers of death,
Except truth which devours untruth,
Live the life in truth and virtue
Achieve truth and fail the death."

The Wheel

"The good other day I was so happy,
And happiness was my true nature.
But not today, I’m so sad,
Is it sorrow my real nature?

Happiness and sorrow, never once
Meet me together, alone they come.
Sorrow comes first, then joy
And joy comes and later sorrow.

Never I sought sorrow in my life,
Happiness is what I always seek.
Joy and sorrow, are they in a wheel?
Revolving around and coming in turn.

No one suffers sorrow forever,
No one enjoys happiness forever,
They are in a wheel turning around,
Making us happy and sad.

Stop the wheel, when I’m happy
What to do to achieve this feet?
Being in happiness, is what I need
What to do to achieve this feet?

Do good and be happy
Do bad and reap sorrow.
This is what I learned from the learned,
That is the key for stopping the wheel.

Joy and grief, depends on destiny
But destiny itself depends on you.
Do good and change your destiny
Do bad and destiny will follow.

Having friends who destitute of friends,
Having foes who destitute of foes,
Having wisdom who destitute of wisdom,
Having happiness also through destiny.

Friends are not the cause of happiness,
Nor foes the cause of misery,
Wisdom will not bring you wealth,
Nor wealth brings you happiness.

Intelligence, not the cause of wealth,
Nor stupidity the cause of penury,
He only who possesses this wisdom,
Knows the world and the wheel of life."

Fear Not!

"Fear me not, fear me not
I'm the GOD, you fear me not
Fear me not, my dear son
I'm with you, you fear me not.

Without a reason fearing a lot
Becomes a second nature of you
Fear for nothing, fear for nothing
Why can't you trust me, I'm in you!

In wealth I gave, you fear poverty
In knowledge I gave, ignorance you fear
In beauty I gave, you fear age
And I gave you fame, the fall you fear.

When I pore success over you
About the failure, you fear a lot
Handsome and cute, you got a body
You start fearing about the death.

Everything in earth is fraught with fear
I alone is fearless, you trust
You can become fearless like me
When you cast all, dear you hold!

Cast your worries, cast you fears
Cast your pride in being wealthy
Cast your knowledge, beauty and status
Give up everything and you be I."

Religions

Nothing made more peace and love,
Nothing made more tangible brotherhood,
Nothing made charity spread,
It is nothing other than religions.

Nothing spread more hatred in the world,
Nothing bred more bitter enmity,
Nothing flood the world with blood,
It is nothing other than religions.

When we think our religion is good,
And neighbor’s also good as mine,
Then we see peace and love,
Charity and brotherhood in this world.

When we think our religion is good,
But my neighbor’s not as mine,
Then the hatred and enmity rises,
Flooding the world with neighbor’s blood.

Let us accept all our religions,
And worship God with every one of them,
In whatever form he worship him,
Tolerance is not what we need.

Let us take Mohammedans’ brotherhood,
Let the Christians teach us charity,
Let us become spiritual as Hindus,
Acceptance is what we need.

I

Staring at the album before me,
Memories came floating around me,
Dancing memories of good and old,
Came rushing and flooding my mind.

The front page of the album bears,
A smiling child in his birth suit,
Casting a cute shy look,
He showed his grace and beauty.

I stopped turning the pages,
When I saw a boy in trousers,
He was so naughty at times,
Running around the house all time.

Next page holds the picture of a man,
In a neat and nice wedding suit,
Looking so handsome and hot,
He showed his strength and power.

Then I closed the book of memories,
And looked up at the mirror in front,
There I saw an old gentleman,
Waiting for his time to come.

Yesterday's I is today’s I,
Today’s I will be tomorrow’s I,
Whatever changes happens around,
I am I and that will not change.

The Knock

So sick and cold I lay in the bed,
As old and feeble I loll there tired,
Sprawling on the bed a knock was heard,
So tiny but clear I heard that sound.

With much difficulty I woke from the bed,
Walked to the door with much animosity,
With futility the door was opened,
Seeing nobody, I mourned and returned.

Again I heard the same little knock,
Again I jumped and plod to the door,
Again the door was opened in vain,
Again I came back mourning to the bed.

This continues for so many times,
Till I found the reason for the knock,
The knock was not at the door, I fancied,
The truth is in my heart which beats.

Like the knock we searched outside,
Searching the God, in hill and dale,
He is searched in books and heaven,
And searching him in temples and churches.

At last the search will be completed in vain,
And come back to there from where we started,
Then we sure will realize the truth
That, I’m he and he is I.
